We are a coalition of Marylanders fighting back against immigration detention camps in our communities.
In January 2026, DHS spent $102.4 million to purchase a warehouse to convert into a detention camp to hold 1,500 people. The Washington County Board of Commissioners embraced the deal–despite not consulting with the local community and despite the burden of Tk, Tk and TK that the camp will impose.
